Complementary Therapies

Q. I am receiving other Complementary therapies at this time is there a problem with that?

No, this isnt a problem however we strongly suggest you do not have more than one treatment on the same day, ideally a week should be left between each treatment, however by discussing your individual situation with the therapist a treatment plan can be arranged.

Q. I am recieving treatment from my GP will the therapies affect it?

It may be necessary in some cases for you to get GP approval for the treatment being carried out so that he/she is aware of what you are receiving. Complementary therapies can be beneficial when used alongside conventional medicine as they help to reduce stress and tension.

Q. Do I have to take all my clothes off for a treatment?

It depends on the treatment carried out, if it is a full body massage you will be asked to undress down to your underwear, your privacy will be respected at all times and you will be covered with towels and blankets to protect your modesty, only the area being treated will be exposed. For beauty treatments such as waxing you may be asked to remove trousers for leg or bikini wax however your modesty will be covered at all times.

Q. Why am I required to have a patch test prior to tinting

Patch tests are required as there is a small chance of there being a reaction to the products, by testing your skin a minimum of 24hrs prior to your treatment, the therapist will be able to see if it is suitable for you. Test updates are required every 6months.
